EdTech Collective

EdTech Collective (or the LD Meetup as it was first called) was started by individuals at Groundflr, in February 2021. The goal was to bring the online learning community in Cape Town, together. It began with a Slack channel - which has expanded and morphed into a place for collaboration, resource and tool sharing, event announcements, amongst other things.

EdTech Collective has facilitated a number of great events, panel discussions and speakers - and it has become clear that there is huge potential for real community within the Cape Town LD and EdTech space. In this community we have the opportunity to network, collaborate, celebrate local talent and, crucially, create a space to facilitate conversations that matter - to drive insight, innovation and inclusivity.

Our Vision

In early 2022, EdTech Collective underwent a rebrand. As a result, we now have a beautiful CI and a clear vision: To create a collaborative network of learning professionals in Africa.

Our values define our action - and as a Collective we are:
